A.B.A.T.E. of ILLINOIS, Inc. is a neutral non-profit organization that allows all riders to unite in A Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education.

A.B.A.T.E. works to safeguard our motorcycling rights, while allowing us to be individuals with different  views.

A.B.A.T.E.'s main concern is putting motorcycle legislation in its proper perspective. This is being accomplished through motorcycle safety education programs, public awareness programs, and other programs designed to prevent injury or fatal accidents to motorcyclists.

A.B.A.T.E. keeps the legislature informed of our position on any legislation that is unfair or discriminatory towards motorcyclists.

A.B.A.T.E. works closely with motorcycle rights organizations across the nation to stop discriminatory legislation aimed at all motorcyclists throughout the country.

By joining A.B.A.T.E., you can be part of a political power that has come together to oppose anti-motorcycling legislation and to promote the safety of motorcyclists. You can help support the implementation of programs that will help the sport of motorcycling.

You will receive a patch, yearly membership card, yearly rocker, bumper sticker and a monthly newsletter that contains notices of A.B.A.T.E. activities and will keep you informed of any legislative activities affecting you - the motorcyclist.

You can participate with fellow riders in service oriented activities such as blood runs, toys runs, clothing and food drives for the needy. Our positive image is greatly enhanced by the generosity and concern shown through these charitable endeavors.

Most of all, you have the personal satisfaction of knowing that with your membership, you are helping preserve the basic freedoms of all motorcyclists.
