Sorry for not keeping up on the monthly report. We are going under a staff shortage and most officers have doubled up on duties. Our current President is Mike Grachek. Thanks for stepping up and taking us into the next year. We've also had a lot of well-intentioned people stepped up and down. Thanks for trying, there's no shame in trying.
Sad to report we also lost a great friend and companion to most Steve Briggs. R.I.P. my brother. We will miss him dearly, condolences to his family and God Bless.
Hard to change gears here but Steve would want us to go on with the report... Our state raffle tickets are on sale now. Get them from your friendly A.B.A.T.E. officers.
Also ask about our Da Bear tickets. Next we have events coming up that we seriously need volunteers for. Please come to a meeting and sign up for something. I promise we can have fun. May 4th is the Freedom Rally to Springfield; May 10th is Susan G. Komen Ride for the Cure. And the Grand Nationals Meetings are being held (check for time and place). So let's get up and RIDE. Time for all 300 hundred plus Peo-Taz A.B.A.T.E. members to show up. This is a Call to Arms! Our lifestyle is being decided for us. Without your support, we will vanish into the sunset. There goes your freedom and rights.
